COVID-19: A message from top management

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been working with hundreds of students of different departments who, like you, are facing an unprecedented challenge: keeping their faculty, students, and communities safe.

Many of you are implementing work & Internship from home or other social distancing arrangements in response. We know how complicated this can be — because we did it ourselves.

As leaders, I believe it’s our responsibility to do our part and to explore all options for how we can help specifically to each of our students to do the learning better.

We’re creating a library of resources based on best practices, our own experience going remote and getting the necessary support from all quarters,  experiences of our well-wishers, customers and partners. You’ll find response plans, recommended tools, employee communication templates, WFH policy templates, online lectures, tutorials, webinars, MCQ's, and many more. All of those resources are available here with JEC.

Because staying informed is the best thing you can do when facing a situation that’s changing fast, we’ll also continue to share useful materials and things we learn from our colleagues around the world via our Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts. Materials like these public documents, which collect response plans and policy decisions from well-known experts, companies, and communities can be used as a way to calibrate your response to what other professionals students and faculty in your position are thinking and doing.

Additionally, our IT Cell management and support teams will be standing by you to provide tips and help optimize your learning for remote collaboration.

And finally, starting now that we will be providing free access to you all of the resources collected like Videos, Interviews add-on, MCQ's, Youtube materials, MOOCs, NPTEL updated contents for all students on free of cost. All you have to do is be active and use these resources wisely. Whether you’re planning to study and work from home, or just reduce commutes and on-site visits, Video Interviews, lectures, online materials can help you keep updated efficiently while remote. It won’t solve all of your problems, but we hope it can make it easier for you to transition to a practical and safer way to screen out your problems, and the solution of this can be done remotely and immediately.

Nobody knows for sure how this health crisis will play out. What we do know is that the teaching-learning process who responds quickly and decisively will reduce the impact on the final outcomes and examination results.

Remember, you are not alone. Every student and every professional in the world are facing this, and none of us had a lot of time to prepare ourselves to fight COVID 19. Every student on your team is looking up to faculty for guidance, a sense of security, and a sense of continuity. We’ll be with you and we will support you in every way we can, during what could be a career-defining call of duty.

Take care !!! Stay Home Stay safe, Stay Healthy!!!

Yours
