The R&D for Ramchandra Sharma’s company, “Deodhi, The Café”, cost little more than a kid's science project--which, in fact, it was. At age 12, Sharma one day visited nearby tea shop in Jaipur, where he was in search of a cup of tea just flavored like her grandmother's homebrewed spice tea. But he failed to get this in the street where at that time. Returning home to his native place and again admitted to JEC for his B.tech degree, he spent his most valued time in study along with his hobby to re-create that zest, mixing kitchen spices in jars of pond water and then applying them to produce. Eventually, he came up with the idea of infusing the spices into Coffee; he even created his own blended Spiced Tea and Spiced Coffee, with just using Rs5000. Now “Deodhi, The Café, based in Jaipur India, makes a product that is potentially transformative: spice-infused Coffee, which keeps food lovers to test the coffee at the café & restaurants. Ramchandra did experience on his product throughout high school and college days, investing his own money along the way. Interest from investors is strong, but Ramchandra prefers to go it alone for now, so “Deodhi, The Café”, can concentrate on social mission, Make Spiced Coffee at very cheaper and affordable rates to households in the field of Food chain services —which is not always the top priority for profit makers. His entrepreneurship venture named as “Deodhi, The Café” is a leading name in the town. He has acclaimed success in this endeavor. Get along, Ram Chandra! Best wishes from JECG!! |
